Computer and Internet Monitoring Program

Defendants or persons under supervision may be court ordered to comply with a Computer and Internet Monitoring Program (CIMP). This condition of supervision serves the statutory sentencing purposes of deterrence, public protection, and rehabilitation. It is also a supervision tool that permits defendants or persons under supervision to use the Internet for legitimate and necessary purposes to facilitate rehabilitation and reintegration into the community. The U.S. Probation Office may provide computer or phone monitoring for eligible devices and monitor for compliance with Internet and device restrictions. Please contact your officer to request computer or phone monitoring.

Additional information including compatible devices and payment instructions can be found at Pay Computer Monitoring. Please do not contact the monitoring company unless directed by your officer.
